Are there specific forms to fill out for letters of recommendations?
No, the Oklahoma State Graduate College does not require that you submit letters of recommendations in a specific format.

What are the different options for financial aid?
There are various sources of funding open to students. For more information, please see the page on Financial Assistance for Graduate Students.

When do I need to apply?
International students should apply at least six months before planned attendance, in order to ensure that the I-20 is received in a timely manner.

Where do I apply?
Students should apply for admission to the MAE program through the graduate college. These applications will then be forwarded to the academic secretary in the MAE Department.

Is the GRE required?
The Graduate Record Examination (GRE) is highly recommended, but not required.

What TOEFL score is required for international students?
International students must have a TOEFL computer-based score of 213 or higher.

Do Ph.D. students need to select an adviser before applying to the program?
If you are applying for our Doctoral program, you must have an adviser before you can be fully admitted. Your application will be distributed among MAE Faculty in your area(s) of interest, and if an appropriate Faculty member needs a Ph.D. student, they might choose to be your adviser.

How can I get an application?
The quickest way to apply is through the Graduate College. All application forms are located on their Web site.

Who will notify me of the application decision?
Once a decision has been made as to your admission, the Graduate College will send you confirmation.
